About

Spelga Mountain Lodge is a modern duplex detached converted barn which sleeps 5. It is located on top of the Mourne Mountains, beside Spelga Dam reservoir, 10 minutes from the famous Royal County Down golf course in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.

The bespoke kitchen and dining/living area has a corner sofa and freeview TV to relax & enjoy the craic, beside the wood burning stove.
Upstairs the main bedroom has a Kingsize modern bed and Freeview TV and seating area. Bedroom 2 has a luxuary double bunk bed for kids/adults sleeping 3, with hotel grade matresses for comfort.
In the complex is an Outdoor Wooden games room with snooker & table tennis, overlooking the Dam, along with an outside kids climbing frame and swings.
Your Pets are welcome on your holiday too, as we have fenced areas outside for during the day & safe areas for bed-time. There are walks direct from the house & a river for your pet to enjoy. 

Spelga Dam is in an Area of Outstanding Beauty on top of the Mourne Mountains.
Local Attractions include Silent Valley, Castlewelllan Maize & Forest Park, Cranfield Beach, Kilkeel Harbour, Royal County Down Golf Course and Kilbroney Forest Park & Mountain Biking trails.
