Phyllis's Cottage

59 Loughview Road, Aldergrove, Crumlin, Co Antrim, BT29 4ED
A kitchen with an antique style cooker, sink, microwave and fridge with a window.

About

Phyllis’s cottage is a recently restored, listed C18th, one bedroom cottage on the shores of Lough Neagh.  The restoration was as sympathetic as C21st building regulations allow and so the cottage retains many of its quirks and charms.

Phyllis’s cottage has one bedroom with a king size bed and is suitable for two people.

The kitchen is well equipped with an Everhot (electric range cooker) and a multi-function mircrowave, toaster, a dishwasher, fridge freezer, boiling water tap rather than a kettle and has a dining area that can seat six.

There is a selection of books and games, information about the local area and of course it has a TV and Wifi is available (does not work in the bedroom).  There are 2 open fires in the cottage and so very cosy in the autumn and winter evenings.

The bathroom has a spacious shower which is very efficient.

There is parking at the front of the cottage.  The area at the rear is  a work in progress and there is a small orchard, very recently planted.

*Please note that children are not allowed and at the moment it is unsuitable for pets.
