About

This Traditional, Georgian and Historic Hotel is situated on The Causeway Coastal Route, midway between Belfast and The Giant’s Causeway.

A hidden gem nestled in the picturesque village of Carnlough and surrounded by sandy beaches, this hotel is an ideal base when exploring this region of outstanding beauty. Built in 1847 and once owned by Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel has been in the O’Neill family ownership for more than 70 years. It has maintained its sense of old world charm with cosy lounges, paintings by local artists, antique furniture and open log fires.

A founder member of Taste of Ulster, the hotel offers a wide choice of the best of local produced food in both Restaurants and Coach House Bar Bistro. Whiskey connoisseurs can enjoy a range of Irish or Scottish Malts in the Arkle Whiskey Bar.
