Local attractions: Coleraine is situated in what is locally known as the ‘North Coast Triangle’ of Northern Ireland. The triangle encompasses the towns of Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart all of which are about 5 miles apart. The triangle area offers breath-taking scenery, with stunning coastal views, wonderful countryside to discover as well as being plentiful in history and famous landmarks with numerous beaches and cafes. The triangle also hosts the ‘International Northwest 200’ motorcycle street circuit road races each year in May.
For the golfing enthusiasts, the triangle area is well served by The Royal Portrush links Golf Club (hosting The Open in 2025), and the Portstewart Golf Club. Both clubs provide amazing golfing facilities along with fantastic panoramic coastline views.
