Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival (4 - 9 May)

Where anglers come together to celebrate the art of fishing and the beauty of Fermanagh's lakes and rivers. Enniskillen is Northern Ireland’s angling capital, and one of the world’s foremost coarse angling destinations. By coarse angling, we’re talking roach, rudd, perch, bream, pike and hybrids. The shoals of roach and bream that move through the River Erne are legendary, and each year sees hundreds of coarse anglers descend upon the riverbanks and lakeshores for the nnual Classic Fishing Festival. You don’t have to be a dedicated or even casual angler to get swept up in the atmosphere and buzz in the town centre. Mark your calendars, gather your fishing gear, and get ready for a week filled with laughter and fantastic fishing action.

Wine Geese Festival (31 May - 28 Jun)

In commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Thomas Barton's emigration from County Fermanagh to Bordeaux, join the unique celebration honouring the legacy of one of the esteemed "Wine Geese." This festival will pay homage to the enduring connection between the Barton family and the Fermanagh Lakelands, showcasing the region's food and drink experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a curated selection of fine wines and gourmet cuisine, highlighting the rich flavours and local produce that define Fermanagh.

The Gravel Grinder (4 Oct)

The Gravel Grinder is Ireland’s only long distance gravel cycling challenge. In the picturesque region of Belcoo, the routes – Big Dog 100k and Little Dog 50k – will sweep through seven UNESCO heritage forests with up to 1880 metres of elevation, while providing stunning views of countryside and even a Game of Thrones® film set. The events have been expertly designed in order to challenge participants physically and mentally on a demanding route with stunning views across County Fermanagh and beyond.

In Our Dreams - Wilde Weekend Festival (16 - 20 Oct)

Get ready for a magical time in Enniskillen! This October, immerse yourself in a world inspired by Oscar Wilde's works. The town will turn into a real-life fairytale with the "In Our Dreams" festival. You can watch the colourful parade called "The Happy Prince Pageant", discover new sculptures of the other flora and fauna from the book along the river, and listen to stories and music inspired by Oscar Wilde. There will even be plays and a talk on "How wonderful is the power of love". It's going to be a fun and imaginative adventure for everyone who loves stories! Keep an eye out for the full programme.
