We are pleased to say that Northern Ireland is re-opening!

The key dates for the re-opening of accommodation are below.  These dates are subject to change (dependent on current rates of transmission of the virus).


Guesthouses, Guest accommodation, B&Bs, Hotels, Hostels

As of the 3rd July, the above types of accommodation will be opening their doors and welcoming visitors back to stay with them, and they can't wait to see you! 

Tourism NI has partnered with the national tourism bodies of England, Scotland and Wales to roll out a new UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide reassurance to businesses, customers and communities that safe working guidelines in relation to COVID-19 have been adopted

Holiday and home parks, Caravan sites, Camping sites, Self-catering properties

This group of accommodation are self-contained therefore these types of accommodation has been brought forward to 26th June. 

 

Additional sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry can re-open from 3 July – this includes restaurants, cafes and coffee shops;

Public houses and bars will also be permitted to re-open from 3 July for the purposes of selling food and alcohol on a table service basis. Public houses and bars with outside spaces, such as beer gardens, will be able to use these spaces to serve alcohol on a table service basis;

These relaxations also apply to hotel restaurants, bars and outdoor areas. However, spas and leisure facilities at hotels remain under consideration

Visitor attractions can open from 3 July.

 

The dates are conditional on controlling the rate of transmission of Covid-19 and social distancing measures will remain in place.
