This includes an exciting full-dome theatre show and a personal visit with the man himself. Every family receives a printed photograph and each child takes home a special present, guaranteeing an unforgettable festive adventure.

Stargazing Evening (Thu 11 Dec)

Join an evening at Armagh Planetarium and experience the wonders of the night sky. This special event offers a unique opportunity to learn from expert astronomers, featuring guided observations through powerful telescopes (weather permitting) to explore stars and constellations. Your visit also includes a captivating Dome show in the digital theatre, plus entry to the exhibition area and the Data Visualisation Laboratory, ensuring a night of discovery that is not to be missed.

Winter Solstice in the Woods (Sat 20 Dec)

Take the perfect chance to pause and reconnect with the special light of the Winter Solstice on Slieve Gullion mountain. This unique experience combines Forest Bathing with mindful Solstice rituals. You will create a beautiful nature-based mandala, partake in a guided healing white light meditation, and use personal reflection to set intentions and goals for the year ahead. The experience concludes with a warming tea ceremony featuring organic winter berry cordial and locally-made shortbread.
