About

Originally conceived as a pop-up restaurant, Home moved from its last address to set up permanently on Wellington Place, and what a treat to lovers of simple but magnificently well-prepared food. Located on Wellington Place in the very heart of Belfast City Centre, Home serves feel-good food using the best seasonal, local produce.

Home was founded during the Autumn of 2011 in a back street location in Belfast City Centre initially as a three month pop-up venture. Its aim and ethos was to serve homely, feel good nourishing food. The restaurant partnered with local artists and social enterprises to give a new home to previously loved furniture. The initial pop-up venture was an instant hit with foodies so much so that the pop-up extended its tenure for a further four months, before taking up a permanent home in its current location of Wellington Place, Belfast close to the magnificent City Hall.

Home is open for morning coffee and pastries from 10:00 daily where you can pull up a stool and watch the hubbub of the city go by or have a relaxed meeting. From 11:00 the deli area kicks into full swing where freshly prepared soups, salads, sandwiches and home baked treats are available to consume in the deli area or for takeaway. At noon the restaurant opens with a full menu with waiter service. Home is fully licensed and has an extensive and affordable wine and drinks list.
