About

Based in the countryside of beautiful Magheramorne, a hamlet just 5 minutes from Larne and the world famous Causeway Coastal route, Victoriana's Flower School is ready to welcome you. Run by Kim, a qualified trainer and florist, their aim is to share the Victoriana Floral style of floristry with you. They use the Victorian Language of Flowers as inspiration for tailoring flowers to suit any occasion, hence their special name.

With a loose and informal approach to floristry, they like to break the traditional rules and create a natural, pretty look. The flowers and foliage used are locally grown when in season (some in their own 1-acre garden) and you will have the opportunity to cut your own flowers from their cutting garden during the summer months.

Catering for up to 12 students at a time their courses, like their floral style, are relaxed and informal and are held in a barn where there is a little wood burner to take the chill off the air in colder months.

They look forward to welcoming you along to one of their workshops and to sharing some flowery secrets with you. They run courses for everyone from beginners to experienced florists and cover everything from bouquets to flower crowns to Christmas wreaths to huge wedding installations. You can contact them for more details or see what is currently listed under the tutorials section of their website.

They have also partnered with Jill at Maggies Working Kitchen for all their catering needs. Jill provides their classes with the most delicious tasty treats and those attending are full of compliments on her afternoon teas and lunches.

The Victoriana Floral Shop in Whitehead also retails fresh flowers and gifts.
