About

A 9 hole course which presents a serious test of Golf, Cliftonville Golf Club was founded in 1911 and is one of Belfast’s oldest clubs.

Cliftonville nestling under the shadow of the Cavehill, is a hidden gem of a course located in the heart of Belfast. Measuring over 6200 yds, with a par of 70, the course features a famously difficult starting hole, (nominated twice in BBC NI’s “Toughest Par 3”). All in all the course presents a tough challenge with river holes, tree lined fairways, fast subtle greens and with the boundary of the course coming into play on many holes.

As a visitor or new member you will find a welcoming environment both on the Course and in the Clubhouse which has recently been refurbished and extended to offer great food and drink. Whether you are looking to take up a new hobby, enjoy some exercise in the countryside or simply play a new course, Cliftonville Golf Course offers visitors a warm and friendly welcome.
