The Restaurant
The Taaj Restaurant is now part of the Taste Mid Ulster Food Trail
On the ground floor there is a lounge bar area where customers can relax and enjoy pre and after meal drinks.
The main restaurant area is on the first floor for those who cannot manage the stairs there is an elevator. The 65 seat themed restaurant is warm, spacious and beautifully decorated in a traditional Indian style with a modern twist.

The Food
Head Chef Madan Lal has travelled around the world working in 5 star hotels and restaurants exploring new ways to recreate fresh and exciting Indian Cuisine.

Our Taste Mid Ulster Signature Dish

Butter Chicken

Strips of marinated Tandoori chicken cooked with fresh tomato paste, rich butter and cream, finish with fenugreek leaves.
This is a favourite dish for all age groups and has proven popular among those who like Indian food or who are just starting to taste INDIAN FOOD

Vegetarian and Vegan Menu’s 

Extensive list of options available - Indian cuisine is the vegetarian’s/ vegan’s friend. We cook using vegetable oil so you can confidently order off our menus. All vegetarian dishes are clearly marked. If you are vegan there are a few ingredients you may want to watch out for such as yogurt, cream or paneer cheese but always double check with your server.
