About

Just 10 minutes from Coleraine and 20 minutes from the North Coast, the Brown Trout Country Inn is a perfect eating place for a secluded meal by the fire, family gatherings or small weddings.

Their kitchen team love preparing food from dawn to dusk and take pride in using locally sourced ingredients to prepare a wide range of dishes from breakfast through to lunch and dinner. Enjoy All Day Breakfast, homemade wheaten bread and flavoursome soups, lighter bites and menu classics, and winter-warming, slow-cooked dishes such as braised beef, lamb shank and fish pie.

The Brown Trout Country Inn have a number of distinct dining areas which lend themselves to all types of social gatherings. They can make private rooms “private” and turn function rooms into “party” rooms – anything is possible with prior arrangement and reservation.

Set on a south-facing patio, you can dine alfresco in the peaceful surroundings of their own 9 hole golf course in the summer, or sit by one of their four open fires in the winter. The atmosphere of the Trout is always welcoming and relaxing.

With 15 rooms and 4 two bedroom cottages, The Brown Trout offers an ideal base for great food, accommodation, fishing in the Agivey river and golf.

Their aim is to create lifetime customers; find out for yourself why they are succeeding!
