About

Rathlin Island, the most northerly inhabited island in Ireland, now boasts four more new quality walks. The new walks join the already existing Rathlin Trail and Roonivoolin Walk to provide just under 20 miles of walking on the island.

Ballyconaghan Trail - This 1.8 mile circular walk will take walkers through National Trust land in the north of the island providing stunning views out to the Atlantic and Scotland.

Kebble Cliff Walk - Taking in the south of the island with stunning views of dramatic sea cliffs and of Ballycastle beyond, this 1.9 mile circular walk passes Bull Point, near to where Richard Branson crash landed his hot air balloon in 1987, on his record breaking transatlantic flight.

Kinramer North Walk - For the more intrepid rambler, the 2.1 mile circular walk also through Kebble Nature Reserve features sections through rough terrain, with steep slopes providing walkers with amazing views of dramatic sea cliffs.
