About

Experience Northen Ireland's longest river onboard the stylish M. V. Kingfisher - a classic vessel built by Harland and Wolff in the historic Belfast shipyard, which provides the perfect platform to relax, admire the scenery and learn about local heritage.

M.V. Kingfisher, built in 1947, has been beautifully restored by your hosts. Carrying up to twelve passengers, this unique experience showcasing the river is both personal and memorable.

"Best of the Bann" river cruise is a two-hour roundtrip from The Cutts, Coleraine aboard this magnificent boat. The covered deck area is kitted out with comfortable seating, plush cushions, and soft blankets and you can enjoy freshly brewed tea and coffee and savour some homemade cake as you take in the sights and sounds of Northern Ireland's longest river. During the cruise your hosts provide descriptive commentary about the river's environment and heritage, and binoculars are available to enhance any wildlife encounters.

This experience encourages passengers to let their worries float away as they sit back and relax on the picturesque, calm waters of the Lower Bann. It is perfect for practising mindfulness, taking time to be close to nature, and uncover the fascinating heritage of an area so often overlooked. Enjoy an informative and educational experience which moves at a slow, leisurely pace.
