About

Balmoral Golf Club is located on Lisburn Road, in south Belfast, three miles south of the city centre. It offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 69. The course was founded in 1914. The course is comparatively flat in nature and has a number of intentionally placed trees. The area has a comprehensive range of hotel and B & B accommodation, which is within 3 miles of Belfast City centre, and renowned nightlife, shopping and visitor attractions.



The existing Clubhouse was formally opened by Fred Daly M.B.E. on 27th August 1988 and golfers and visitors alike to Balmoral can expect a warm and friendly welcome. The clubhouse restaurant, renowned for its quality and range of menu, offer a combination of the best of Irish and International cuisines, complemented by an extensive range of superb wines.



Both the ‘Fred Daly Bar’ and the ‘Lounge Bar’ are located on the upper level of the Clubhouse offering a panoramic view across the course and makes an ideal place to relax after a game of golf or before dining.  Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Balmoral Golf Club difficult yet friendly, and the staff can offer tips and tricks for playing your best round. Balmoral Golf Club is a terrific choice for your regular rounds of golf or a new destination for you and friends when visiting Belfast.
