Stendhal Festival

About

Roll up, roll up to the Amazing Stendhal Festival, Northern Ireland's biggest and best loved independent music and arts festival since 2011.
Kick start your summer with singing, dancing and all modes of merriment courtesy of a stellar cast of performers from all artistic walks of life.
Music, comedy, poetry, a dedicated family programme and a host of visual arts for your senses to feast upon.

This year's lineup is currently being pieced together by Team Stendhal, so check back soon for loads of exciting line-up announcements.

The festival also has a dedicated family programme that caters to children and families of all ages. Such is the focus on the family aspect of the festival, Stendhal has won awards naming it 'Ireland’s Best Family Festival' over the years and organisers of the event are keen to improve the family and children’s entertainment offerings each and every year.

A wide range of foodie experiences are available at Stendhal where everyone can enjoy diverse and delicious food. Delicious, mouth watering and healthy vegetarian and vegan food will be sold from food trailers and food stalls scattered throughout the festival site as well.

While there's a wonderful weekend in store for you, if you are considering travelling to the festival from a bit further afield, you might want to consider taking a week or a longer weekend to take in all the surrounding area has to offer. Limavady is a fantastic entry point to the wider North West – at the start of the stunning Causeway Coastal Route, a stone's throw from Derry, Donegal and Portrush, and has everything you could want in a week away from home.

For those who don’t wish to camp, there are many alternatives in the Limavady and Causeway Coast area. The Limavady area is known for its beautiful landscape and scenery, has many accommodation alternatives for those wishing to stay but not camp.
