About

Take to the high seas for a tour around Belfast Lough. And don’t worry – no previous sailing experience required!

Climb aboard a modern sailing yacht for an unforgettable outing that will take you around spectacular Belfast Lough and the unique sites that call it home. Travel as your ancestors once did, harnessing the power of the wind to speed across the Lough’s glass-like waters, pushing the yacht to its limits – and you outside your comfort zone!

Perfect for families or as a thrilling team-building experience, by pulling together and working as a team you can help the yacht reach faster and faster speeds. Sailing around the Lough, your guide will point out different historic points and areas of interest, like the towering cranes Samson and Goliath located at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast, or the Royal Belfast Golf Club, the oldest golf club on the island.

Being carried along by the wind like generations before you is a serene and mindful experience, not to mention sustainable – even down to the bamboo plates and bowls your lunch on-board is served in. Once you get back on dry land, the Marina at Carrickfergus is a hive of activity, with bars, restaurants, playgrounds, even a 12th century Norman Castle, all within a short walk of each other.
