Chocolate is lovely to eat but it’s also great fun to make too! Chocolate Manor offer a range of scheduled and private workshops so that you can experience the joy and wonder of creating your own chocolate treats.

At Chocolate Manor, there's an experience for everybody. Families can get together to make some tasty treats or, for kids only, they have the Choccy Rocky Experience. Their fun family activities are informative, creative and best of all, you have something delicious to take home too. For the chocolate-loving grown up, they have experiences where you can learn truffle-making, moulding chocolates and making some classic favourites. Visitors and locals love to explore the fantastic Taste Causeway artisan products they can pair with chocolate or learn how to taste chocolate properly – yes, there really is a way to enjoy chocolate even more than you do now!

Their workshops are open to the public or can be booked as private sessions. They welcome groups and offer school and corporate packages based on the age range and interests of guests. Chocolate Manor's workshops are great for team-building or celebrating a special event.

Chocolate Manor experiences:

- The Choccy Rocky Kids Experience: 1 hour session just for kids to make a selection of tasty treats.

- Choccy Rocky Kids Birthday Experiences - 90 minues - 2 hour session for birthday parties - age 5 to 14

- Family Experiences: Take 90 minutes to make lasting memories with your family enjoying the experience of making your very own range of chocolate creations.

- The Chocolate Box Experience: 90 minutes experience for adults, learning the basics of tempering chocolate and making a selection of chocolate bonbons with inclusions.

- The Truffle Shuffle: Over the course of 2.5 hours you will learn how to create the perfect chocolate ganache for a selection of handcrafted truffles, and temper chocolate to coat them.

- The Taste Causeway Experience: Explore the finest artisan produce from across the Casueway Coast & Glens, and learn to pair it with the finest chocolate during this tantalising and enjoyable 2.5 hour experience.

Chocolate Manor also run seasonal experiences including Halloween, Christmas and Easter, as well as delivering bespoke sessions for groups - contact them to discuss your needs.

Based on the corner of Main Street and Sea Road, Castlerock, as you are heading towards Castlerock Beach.

Public Transport Directions

By Car - Coming from Coleraine follow the A2 travelling towards Downhill and Benone. We are approx one hour and fifteen minutes from Belfast and 45 minutes from Derry/Londonderry. If travelling from Derry/Londonderry take the B69 Sea Coast Road towards Bellarena off the A2 at Limavady, for a stunning drive along the coastline.

Parking: There is ample on street parking in Castlerock, plus free parking spaces on the Promenade, in front of the Peter Thompson Community Centre, and at Tunnel Brae – all of which are just a few minutes walk from The Chocolate Manor.  Please park responsibly.

By Train - Castlerock has its own train station on the main line between Belfast and Derry/Londonderry. There is one train in each direction each hour from the village. Check www.translink.co.uk for timetables.  The train station is one minute walk from The Chocolate Manor.

By Bus - You can travel to Castlerock by Bus using the 134 service from Coleraine to Limavady or vice versa. Check www.translink.co.uk for up-to-date timetables, and details on getting a bus to Coleraine from your location.  The bus stops at Castle Walk, Castlerock, a five minute walk to The Chocolate Manor.
