About

On Saturday 7, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December, visitors will notice a touch of magic in the air at Belfast Zoo as we get into the festive spirit with the return of our Wildlife Wonderland event.

Put on your preferred Christmas jumper and join Mrs Claus and her elves at their Christmas workshops.

Compose a letter to Santa and drop it in our wildlife post box before enjoying some holiday tales and festive carols.

The Big Fat Animal Quiz with Mrs Claus on 7 and 14 December
The Big Fat Animal Quiz concludes the workshop and offers Zooper prizes to be won. In honour of our 90th anniversary, there will be a total of 90 prizes available to win. Then you can visit the zoo and see the animals getting their festive gifts filled with treats.

Animal Quiz sessions will take place at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm.

Quiet Santa on 15 December
Designed for children who prefer a calmer environment, our Quiet Santa sessions offer a peaceful and sensory-friendly experience. Children can also compose a letter to Santa Claus at the letter-writing station and enjoy fun sensory activities.

Prepare for a unique Christmas story that engages children's senses with scents, textures, and sign language instruction.

Quiet Santa sessions will take place at 10am, 11am, 12 noon,1pm and 2pm.

We are open from 10am to 4pm with last admission at 2.30pm.
