Orchard visit and Hands-on class focusing on the wonderful Bramley apples of Co Armagh. You will learn about the history and heritage of Bramley apples which we will then use to make some delicious local recipes handed through the generations.

Class Recipes;
Apple Tart made with a buttery shortcrust pastry
Potato Apple Bread, a County Armagh speciality
Fruit Soda Bread
Apple & Ginger Scones

You will make your own apple and ginger scones and will have these to take home. The class begins at 9.30am at the Orchard which is 5 minutes drive from the cookery school on the Armagh side of Moy. The orchard tour will last approximately one hour and participants will then make their own way over to the cookery school for the class to begin straight after the orchard tour.
