This walk is a circular route from valley to summit and back in the central Sperrins, along forest tracks, small trails and open hillside. Nestled in the Glenedra Valley, this summit overlooks Banagher Glen to the north and the Glenelly Valley to the south.

This walk is approximately 9km and will take 3-4 hours to complete.

This historic landscape has been a natural passageway for transit between east and west since the Bronze age- both for human settlement and other natural species.

The human settlement story, from neolithic settlement to the early Christian ecclesiastical presence in the area as well as impact of the Plantation on subsistence farming are all themes that will be touched on during this walk.

Accompanied children over 12 years can be accommodated on the walk however the nature of the terrain should be noted by parents.

Hiking boots and waterproofs are required. No dogs allowed.
