Eco-Adventure - Family Explorer Activity

About

Looking For Family Outdoor Activities?
Our Eco-Adventure activity takes place in the Cladagh Glen Nature Reserve, right on the doorstep of the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre. The woodland of the Cladagh Glen provides a short looped circular route of gravel and concrete paths, ideal for young explorers to make independent discoveries and venture comfortably within the landscape. The woodland is a designated Nature Reserve due to the important plants and animals that live there and is the ideal location to learn about this unique and interesting place which lays over the Marble Arch Caves.

What is included
This outdoor activity provides a careful balance of structured activities alongside time and space for your own exploration. On registration you will receive your adventure map, your quest with the help of our trail finder clues is to use the map to uncover the Mini-Beast Camp, here you will undertake a mini-beast scavenger hunt led by our activity leader, finding creepy crawlies and learning more about the unique insects that call this woodland there home. Your adventure continues using your adventure map again to navigate deeper through the woodland to your next station the Animal Hide and Seek Tent, here your young explorers will learn from our activity leader about the wild animals that live in these woodlands, recognise their footprints and discover how to spot them in their natural environment
