About
Join Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust and local farmer Maurice McHenry on a walk to visit the Druid's Stone, a prehistoric passage tomb on the outskirts of Ballintoy in the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Situated on a knoll in the townland of Magheraboy, the Druid's stone is one of the best preserved prehistoric tombs in the local landscape and offers fantastic views over White Park Bay, Rathlin Island and the Western Scottish Isles. During the walk you will hear about this and other sites in the local area from your guides.
The site is in private ownership and can only be visited with the permission of the landowner. We will park in the farmyard and access the site by foot, walking along uneven farm tracks with sharp inclines. A good level of fitness and sturdy footwear are essential for this walk.
