Brown's Square Heritage Trail EHOD 2022

Brown Square, Belfast, County Antrim, BT13 2BW
Browns Square

About

Your walking tour will take you around Brown's Square which is the oldest surviving residential square in Belfast.  Dating from the late 1700's it was the home of the United Irishmen and afterwards a staunch Loyalist area until the disasterious redevelopment of Belfast in the late 1960s.  Today its a peaceful place that once rang to the sounds of bombs and gunfire and its proud heritage spans all the history of Belfast.
