Calling all budding scientists! Bright Sparks is W5's unique and exciting week-long camp for inquisitive minds aged 11 – 14.

Get hands-on in a range of exciting science-based activities, including; coding, robot programming, film production, virtual reality and much more! Each of the five days will have its own theme and young experimenters will be encouraged to explore and learn in a fun and positive environment.

Register your interest for one, two, three, four or all five days.

Monday 13th February - Spy Kids: Code Breakers!
Do you have what it takes to be a spy kid and crack the code? Your mission is to come join the fun this half term in W5 LIFE! Learn how to become a master code breaker, write and programme your own intuitive code into our RVR robots and bring your spy skills to life in Minecraft: Education Edition!

Tuesday 14th February - Blast Off!
3, 2, 1, blast off this half term at W5 LIFE! Design your very own rocket and send it off into space by programming a Sphero robot! Enter the space race to see if you have what it takes to be a real-life astronaut then realise your extra-terrestrial dreams in Minecraft: Education Edition!

Wednesday 15th February - Movie Makers!
Do you dream of becoming the next big thing in Hollywood? Get down to W5 LIFE this half term and master the skills of the silver screen. Learn how to storyboard and create your own mini movie. Become a greenscreen pro and put yourself in the frame! Then bring your vision to life by recreating a dynamic and interactive film set in Minecraft: Education Edition!

Thursday 16th February - Castaway Coders!
This half term become stranded on a deserted island and use code to help you escape! Learn skills in both Civil and Software engineering to help your chances of survival and bring your castaway story to life in Minecraft: Education Edition!

Friday 17th February - Up In The Air!
Soar to new heights in this fun interactive workshop all about aerospace engineering at W5 LIFE! Create your own mini helicopter, experience the wonders of flight in VR and explore the world of physics by making your own aircraft in Minecraft: Education Edition.

The total cost per session is £45 per child per day. Discounts apply for five day bookings or two or more children attending from the same family.

Numbers are limited therefore, please book early to avoid disappointment.
