About

An 18th Century thatched stone Cottage restored as a tribute to Andrew Jackson, 7th President of the USA whose parents lived nearby. A museum of the US Rangers formed in Carrickfergus in 1942 is housed on the grounds. The exhibition has an enthralling collection of material detailing this famed combat unit.

On Sunday 11 September from 11.30am - 2.30pm you can enjoy a cookery demonstration led by Forage Ireland expert Dermot Hughes and learn how to make jam with seasonal ingredients.
