The Half Marathon normally takes place on the third Sunday of September each year.  However, the 2020 event has been postponed until February given the unprecedented situation regarding the Coronavirus.  To view the full statement from Belfast City Marathon Ltd please visit belfastcitymarathon.com


Around 6,000 participants are expected to set off on their 13.1 mile journey from Ormeau Embankment on 19 September 2021 to complete the 8th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon.


The popular mainly flat and fast course is ideal for first time Half Marathon entrants, a great progressionary route for those who have completed a 10K or Team Relay distance from the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon events and want to set a new distance goal. Also perfect for those athletes seeking a PB.  Participants must be over 17 years old to enter.


This event must be completed inside 3 hours.
