About

The Brewer's House, part of the Taste Mid Ulster Food trail, is a gastropub in the village of Donaghmore, County Tyrone which aims to serve excellent food and drink with quality ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers where possible. The objective of everyone at The Brewer's House is to make all our guests feel very welcome and comfortable and to leave our venue having had a memorable experience every time.

We seek to offer a home from home for those living locally or visiting the area, a place to meet with friends, a place to enjoy all the things that are great about a real pub - the conversation, the food and the drink and above all the atmosphere. Chef Brian McMonagle is committed to sourcing as much local and seasonal produce as possible, although quality of product is always paramount. We have great relationships with local award winning suppliers such as Cloughbane Food Shop and Keenan's Seafood.

The Brewer's House in one of the oldest public houses in the area, dating back well over 150 years. According to records Alexander Mackenzie built the premises at the end of the 18th Century. He was the owner of a brewery in Donaghmore, which was founded in 1797. The Brewer's House has also established a microbrewery where we produce our own ale reviving the tradition of brewing in the village.

At The Brewer's House we take our drinks just as seriously as our food which is why we have put together a special drinks menu offering an extensive list of both local and international drinks that complement our excellent food offering.
