About

Established in 1981, Share Discovery Village is the largest residential activity centre in Ireland and welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually. Share works for the inclusion of disabled and non-disabled people by providing opportunities for all to participate in a wide range of educational, recreational outdoor pursuits and creative arts programmes.

Share Discovery Village is the perfect environment for thrilling outdoor activities. Our lakeshore venue is ideal for a variety of fun watersports and the purpose-built site provides easy access to all onshore activities. All services and activities are available on both a residential and daily basis, and all equipment and instruction are provided for activities.

You are in for a fun time when you visit Share as we offer 30+ activities on water and land that include an action-packed Wibit Water Park, stand up paddleboarding, dinghy sailing, canoeing, archery, banana skiing, indoor and outdoor climbing wall, mountain biking, kayaking, windsurfing, orienteering and a wide range of creative arts, for example, mod-roc sculpture and T-shirt painting based in the Arts Centre.

Residential: Our holiday village is the ideal venue for self-catering holidays with families or fully-catered residential breaks with large groups that are looking for a trip with activities & accommodation on one site!

Our accommodation sleeps up to 220 people arranged in cosy Chalets or the Modern style 'Farmhouse', and over 80% of our accommodation is en-suite. This makes us the perfect location for a residential for a wide range of groups.

Share Discovery Village is also home to a delightful, rural campsite surrounded by trees and green grass. With space for 30 pitches around our safe and secure estate, this is the ideal venue for a family camping trip. Any campers with touring caravans will be happy to know that there are also 10 touring caravan slots with electric hook-up and space for awnings.

If you're looking for a unique overnight trip, check out Trannish Island Bothy.
