About

The Marjorie Leonard Art Gallery is located in the Buttermarket, a beautifully restored early 19th century courtyard right in the heart of Enniskillen Town Centre.

Feel free to visit and browse at your leisure.

The Buttermarket is situated just off the main high street of Enniskillen, and is accessible from the pedestrianised town centre. There are several restaurants and coffee shops close by, as well as the Town Hall and high street shops.

Marjorie Leonard was born and educated in County Fermanagh. She studied Art at the University of Ulster, Belfast, where she graduated with a B.A. (Hons) Degree. An accomplished watercolourist, Marjorie is primarily a painter of the Irish rural landscape. Nature has always been her main inspiration and the countryside of Fermanagh in particular a major influence in her work. Her paintings are defined by their essence of light, colour and atmosphere.

Marjorie has exhibited widely. She is a member of the Ulster Watercolour Society and an exhibitor with the Royal Ulster Academy. Her work is included in art collections world-wide.
