About

A moderate walk on winding forest roads and remote country lanes. From the forest you will have good views of Lough Erne - resembling a shining maze of oversized puddles, the hills beyond extending to County Cavan.

The country roads are quiet and bordered by hedges full of honeysuckle, as well as a variety of plants.

Views span over pleasant farmland and charming farmhouses and outbuildings.

Good footwear is required for this walk as there are sections of surfaced and unsurfaced track and two large craters in the forest road to negotiate.

The Lough Corry mountain lough in Lisnaskea Forest is noted for lively brown trout fishing.
