About

Our course is a 9-hole/18-tee course part parkland/part links and was recently described by a visiting journalist on behalf of The Scottish Tourist board as thus: “Your course proved to be a gem and one of the best 9 hole courses I have played. The use of the 18 tees makes it a very competitive 18 hole trip... the course was in excellent condition and well presented. All of the holes were challenging especially in the winds we encountered on the day we played. The last 3 holes in particular would be the envy of any club.”

Our signatures holes include ‘The Bell’ 7th/16th a deceptive short par 3 which plays from an elevated tee over water to a green bordered by sea on two sides. Also the 8th/17th ‘Whins’ long par 4 with gorse down the left and ocean all the way down the right. Fred Daly rated the 8th as one of the best holes in Ireland!

Our clubhouse is situated in a great location with stunning views of the Islandmagee and Larne coastlines and further down the Causeway Coast. We have a fully stocked bar, which is open daily from 4pm weekdays and 12 noon weekends, and our caterers operate ‘The Bell Bistro’ Friday to Sunday and often on Bank Holidays, opening hours may vary.

In short we offer a challenging round of golf with stunning coastal scenes showcasing an abundance of sea life in a relaxed and friendly setting. Everybody is welcome, we offer very competitive green fees and for anyone wishing to become a member we have great membership offers that can be viewed on our website https://www.larnegolfclub.co.uk/membership
