About

Galgorm Castle is one of Ireland’s finest parklands and hosted the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2020, which was won by the USA’s John Catlin. The championship parkland has been the home of the European Tour Group’s Northern Ireland Open from 2013-2018 and the event was transformed into the ISPS Handa World Invitational in 2019, the first event of its kind in Europe with men and women competing on the same course, at the same time and for the same prize money.

The course is nestled in the heart of the 220-acre historic Galgorm Castle Estate, providing a mature setting that promotes an easy, relaxing rhythm that makes playing golf so pleasurable. Opened in 1997, the par-72 parkland was designed by Simon Gidman and was recognised with the IGTOA’s Irish Parkland of the Year award previously.

A variety of teeing areas provide an exciting and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities and its central location means the course is a must-visit for any golfers planning a trip to Northern Ireland.
