Walk the Town with No Streets and enjoy the local food. Your guide, local resident and artist, will take you on a leisurely walk and food tasting experience in this beautiful and important town on the Causeway Coastal Route.

Stopping off at 3 venues, who will welcome you and will be showcasing their local food in Whitehead. Relax and hear about local history and stories, take in the Victorian & Edwardian architecture, and admire the Whitehead Railway Museum.

09:00 at The Bank House - Meet your local guide & experience a unique deli breakfast, celebrating all things local vs international. A leisurely guided walk and remember to look up as your guide Steve Diamond, local artist and resident, points out interesting buildings, facts and stories along the journey.

10:00 The Old Tea House - A showcase of local produce, a sharing platter between friends you brought and the new friends you meet, taste homemade recipes of local seafood, mug of seafood chowder & quiche from traditional country vegetables. A refreshing homemade ice tea to compliment the experience. Continue your guided walk, hearing of previous residents, the growth of the Victorian railway town, local family businesses and how volunteers are the power of the community.

11:00 Whitehead Railway Museum & Edwardian Tea Room - A light history and journey through the endearing Whitehead Railway Museum, up close to preserved engines, and a time to appreciate the significance of the residing home of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland. See volunteers at work and admire the attention to detail of the fine carriages, it’s even the home to a movie star. A light, miniature Cream Tea, in a setting fit for a Queen.

13:15 The Bank House - End the morning after your final stretch of the walk and appreciation of the beautiful town of Whitehead.
