About

The Edge Watersports at The Crannagh Activity Centre is the North Coast's premiere centre for water based activities. With Northern Irelands first Water Park, Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Canoeing, Kayaking, Banana Boating and Tube Rides there is something for everyone, no matter what your age or ability.

For over twenty years Rob and his team have specialised in providing one to one tuition in waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting and kneeboarding. Lessons are carried out by our trained instructors, so whether you are a complete novice, or an experienced skier, the staff at The Edge will ensure you learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Age is no barrier at The Edge, and infants to old age pensioners can enjoy the thrills of watersport. In addition, The Edge was the first watersports centre in Northern Ireland to offer waterskiing for the disabled, and we now have the equipment to teach wheelchair users, the visually impaired and amputees, so whatever your ability or disability, there are no barriers to enjoying this action packed sport.

The Edge installed Northern Irelands first Waterpark in 2016, which has proved a huge attraction, available to anyone from the age of five (5-9 year olds must be accompanied on the park by and adult) it is great craic for everyone.

All activities are tailored to suit the individual or group involved, with the emphasis on safety and fun. Protective equipment is provided for all users.

The Waterpark allows larger groups to participate in watersport activity together and can be used to encourage younger children and help them gain confidence in the water. Wetsuits are available for all participants.

YOUTH, CHURCH & SCHOOL GROUPS, STAG & HEN PARTIES AND CORPORATE DAYS OUT
At The Edge we also cater for youth groups, parties and schools. We are also a registered activity provider for the Education Authority.

Packages of activities can be tailored to your requirements we can ensure your group has a fun time. We provide half day, or full day activity packages with a wide range of activities under the careful instruction of our dedicated staff. These can be as relaxed or as challenging as you require.

Our on site Watersports Shop is one of the best stocked Waterski and Wakeboard Shops in Ireland, with equipement from Liquid Force, O'Brien and Jobe. We also stock a large range of Inflatables, Ropes, Handles, Wetsuits from O'Neill and a wide range of boating accessories.

Coverage:
Based between Coleraine and Portstewart, along the estuary of the Lower Bann, The Edge attracts customers from all over Ireland.
