About

Movilla’s 6 acre lake offers truly outstanding fly fishing for big top quality rainbow trout.

Movilla caters for all abilities and beginners are most welcome but experienced anglers will still find the fishery a challenge.

We have a bait fishing pond for children U16. All natural baits are allowed such as, bread, worms, maggots, sweetcorn etc.

We hire out fly rods, bait rods and nets. We have a small selection of tackle and flies for sale. We also sell soft drinks, tea, coffee, confectionery and crisps.
Movilla has a large gravel carpark that can accommodate 50 cars and we have good toilet facilities.

Both fly lake and bait pond are well maintained and there are 40 wooden bench seats around the fishery. We have over 1000m of bank space so the fishery is never overcrowded.

A 19ft McAlinden Fisher Supreme is available for hire but you must bring and wear your own life jacket. Boat hire is £20 for 2 anglers.
