About

Two acre garden with mixed plantings suitable for the soil conditions. Woodland plants, peat beds, a scree area, a large heather garden, linked pools with bog garden are all in informal setting.
From early April when there are swathes of daffodils in bloom, this is a garden to wander through leisurely and enjoy.


Well maintained informal, naturalistic style. Featured on BBC's 'Secret Gardens'.

Spring highlights: Trilliums, primulas, dodecatheons and other interesting woodland plants, rhododendrons etc

Summer highlights: bog garden & herbaceous

Autumn highlights: good leaf colour

Winter highlights: mature deciduous/evergreen trees

This garden has limited opening as part of the National Trust Ulster Gardens Scheme, please phone for an appointment before visiting. You can view details of the Ulster Garden Scheme at www.ulstergardensscheme.org.uk.
