About

Two Award winning local companies-Far and Wild and the Walled City Brewery are teaming up on a new slow adventure experience which is a first for Derry-Londonderry.

Your adventure begins in St Columb’s Park with an introductory lesson in Boom Boarding. This popular Hawaiian longboard provides a smooth and stable experience no matter what level you are at. This activity mimics surfing on a wave and will have you flowing along pathways in the direction of the famous Walled City Brewery in Ebrington Square. The tour with your local guide from Far & Wild opens a new vista on the city.

The tour will conclude at the Walled City Brewery restaurant with an opportunity to sample the newest of local brews coming out of the micro-distillery. James Huey, master brewer at the brewery, has worked wonders with his latest ‘Boom’ Larger giving the Tour it’s refreshing name.
