About

Barnett Demesne's Blue Trail is the perfect trail for beginner to intermediate mountain bikers.

The entirety of the trails consists of a shared use 3.4km green trail and an 3.9km blue trail with 3 red loop options (1.5km)

With Ireland's first official purpose-built jumps park boasting no less than 6 lines of mouth-watering table-tops, doubles and hip jumps, these trails tick all the right boxes!

The trails start from the Mary Peters Track in South Belfast.

Public roads: Off Public Road

Getting to the start: The Barnett Demesne Trails start from the Mary Peters Track in South Belfast. From the ‘House of Sport’ roundabout take the B103 Upper Malone Road signposted Finaghy/Dunmurry. After approximately 1 mile, turn left down Old Coach Lane and continue for 100 metres where the Mary Peters Track entrance will be on your right hand side. The Barnett Demesne trailhead is located beside the upper car park. Trailhead postcode is BT9 5PR. Please note, the trailhead car park is open Mon - Thurs: 9.30am to 9pm, Fri: 9.30am to 5pm and Sat/Sun; 10am to 5pm.
