About

This is a small but highly productive river with trout as the main species. There are also some salmon from mid-July in suitable conditions.

The Riversdale Stretch is an attractive angling water situated in pleasant woodland. The river benefits fromexclusive stocking of salmon fry under a management programme. Day tickets for the upper stretch are available from the Ballinamallard and District Angling Club. In the early part of the season good fishing can be had on the dry fly. DCAL Juvenile Game Fishing Permit.
