2019 golf tournaments
International King's Cup Qualifiers
Venues: Castlerock Golf Club, Malone Golf Club
Dates: 27th March 2019, 4th April 2019
The International King's Cup is a three-day 54-hole amateur match play pairs tournament structured like the Ryder Cup, contested between Team Ireland and Team USA. Castlerock Golf Club will host the Ulster Regional Qualifier on 27th March 2019, whilst those who progress will play in the National Qualifier at Malone Golf Club on 4th April 2019 for a chance to represent Team Ireland in Orlanda, Florida.
Belfast Parkland International Golf Tournament
Venues: Belvoir Park, Malone, Shandon Park Golf Clubs
Dates: 29 - 31 May 2019
Belfast's Parkland group, Belvoir Park, Malone, Royal Belfast and Shandon Park join together for the 3rd year to offer this unique Belfast Parkland International Golf Tournament. This time competitors will play Belvoir Park, Malone and Shandon Park golf clubs in a 3 day tournament.
Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament
Venues: Ballycastle, Castlerock, North West and Ballyliffin Golf Clubs
Dates: 3 - 7 June 2019
Experience golf like no other at the Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament. Running successfully from the 1960’s it attracts up to 600 golfers annually from all over the world. Taking place from 3 - 7 June 2019 the golfer will take on four links classics in Ballycastle, Ballyliffin, Castlerock and North West Golf Clubs.
The 148th Open, Royal Portrush
Venue: Royal Portrush Golf Club, County Antrim
Dates: 14 - 21 July 2019
The 148th Open, Royal Portrush will be played 14 - 21 July 2019, (voted number 7 in the World's 100 Greatest Golf Courses by Golf Digest in 2017) marking a historic return to Northern Ireland golf’s original and most international Championship after nearly 70 years. The Open was last staged at Royal Portrush in 1951, when Max Faulkner became Champion Golfer of the Year.
