About

Established in 1973, The Welcome name has been synonymous with good Chinese food, being one of the longest established family run chains in Northern Ireland. The Welcome Restaurant, Stranmillis Road, first opened its doors in 1982 by the then Lord Mayor, Councillor Tom Patton.

Set in relaxed and ambient surroundings, the restaurant has won numerous awards, including Master Chef in the Good Food Guide and has been Egon Ronay recommended.

The Welcome is the quintessential Belfast dining experience, which offers gourmet Cantonese cuisine with unparallel service to match. There is an a la carte menu as well as a fabulous selection of set menus for two or more people.

A take away service is also available giving customers restaurant quality food straight to their homes. The Welcome offer a fabulous selection of fine wines and spirits to suit any palate.
