About

We pride ourselves on being the longest running cafe in Coleraine, having been owned by the Herald family for over 50 years. We have strived to change with the times and the demands of the public. Our produce is locally sourced and prepared on site in our kitchen.

We open at 08:00 to a delicious selection of freshly baked scones, tray bakes and doughnuts. Breakfasts are cooked to order and range from lighter bites of bagels with bacon/cream cheese, and filled sodas, to a full Fry.

Enjoy a latte, cappuccino, or americano made with freshly ground beans, or a pot of tea from a wide selection of leaves, while browsing through a complimentary daily newspaper. Wi-Fi is also available to our customers.

The lunchtime menu offers an international menu, with dishes such as lasagne, curry, meatballs, stews, homemade soups, and our ever popular "Roast of the Day".

We are very aware of allergenic ingredients, and will provide information on the main allergens. Herald's have a good selection of both sweet and savory foodstuffs which are gluten free.

If you have a sweet tooth, our freshly baked pies and home made desserts will make your mouth water.
We have a menu to suit children, and provide a changing station for babies.

Herald's at 22 are proud to have been awarded a 5 from our local council for hygiene.
We hope you come and visit us soon!
