Café Riva

About

We are a licensed café / restaurant serving home cooked food and local ice cream.

We have a range of wine, craft beers and gins as well as our own coffee and local tea. We serve traditional cooked breakfasts including frys, healthy breakfasts, homemade granola and scones, lunch includes sandwiches, homemade soup of the day, toasties, pasta, pizza and risotto.

Dinner is mostly Italian, cooked to order by our Italian Head Chef – pasta, pizza, risotto but also includes daily specials and we are known for our sirloins. Afternoon teas are available to order, they include sandwiches and homemade pastry and can be tailored to personal taste.

Our Sunday roasts are more traditional and include a roast meat with roast and boiled potatoes, chef’s vegetables and gravy. Desserts available daily include ice cream sundaes, cheesecake, pavlova, traybakes etc. All desserts are homemade on the premises. Milkshakes are also available, made using our locally sourced ice cream.

We also roast our own blend of coffee, which we sell in the café and also as take home bags under the brand ‘9 Blends’. We cater for all dietary requirements including food allergies, gluten free, vegetarian & vegan. We have a children’s menu which includes pasta, pizza, and sausages, chicken or fish goujons served with chips. We serve full and half portions of all our pasta and risotto and our pizzas are 12” with 6” available. On Tuesdays in line with the local cinema, all pizzas are half price. An early bird menu runs until 18:30.
