Basil Sheils Bar & Restaurant Armagh

About

Basil Sheils Bar & Restaurant is located in a beautiful, rural setting approximately ten minutes from Armagh City and harks back to a bygone era.
Although a local hangout for many, we also attract many visitors from further afield who have heard about the excellent food we serve. Our menu has something for everyone including top class steaks and many vegetarian options. We also serve breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday. Guests continue to return to our restaurant because of the quality of our food and also the friendly, cosy atmosphere that comes along with their dining experience.
In the winter, fires are blazing throughout the establishment. Meanwhile, in the summer our guests can dine al fresco in either our rooftop garden or across the road in our beer garden which overlooks the Callan River.
If you would like to have some time out from your everyday existence, why not take a few hours to enjoy some premium quality cuisine and drinks in what is widely regarded as Armagh's leading bar and restaurant experience. You will not be disappointed.
