Ability Café is a Social Enterprise Café of Usel, located in the Ecos Centre, Ballymena and is a perfect refreshment stop for after a walk around Ecos Nature Park.

Usel is Northern Ireland’s largest supporter of people with disabilities or health conditions across NI, offering employment and learning opportunities within the café.

The café provides the highest quality, locally sourced products and has a wide offering of hot and cold dishes as well as coffee supplied by their local partner, Johnsons Coffee. They provide a first-class bistro style services for people using the park, from families with young children to dog walkers or those out for some fresh air and to enjoy nature at its finest. There is something for everyone!

From January 2020, there is also the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea. Pre-booking is essential and vouchers are available from the café.

For every £1 invested in Usel they generate over £18 in social value which allows them to create jobs for people with disabilities or health conditions.

The premises are wheelchair accessible, vision impaired friendly and hearing impaired friendly.
