Originally from Killinchy, County Down, I have exhibited in a variety of Galleries both locally and internationally and I continue to produce works in the form of commissions of local scenes of landscapes and seascapes on Rathlin and around Ireland. My preferred medium is Acrylic however I have produced some works in watercolour. I am a full member of The Art Society of Ulster.

I also produce a wide range of Greeting Cards, Aprons, Tea Towels and Bags for Life from my original Art works, all of which are available direct from the Studio.

In addition the Studio also stocks an attractive range of Local Pottery, "Field Day" Candles, Lip Balms, Soaps and Diffusers, Handbags, Scarves, hand made "Rathlin Mugs", Celtic Themed Jewellery, Rathlin Ceramic Coasters and Fridge Magnets, Celtic Hats, Scarves, Gloves and Neckies which are Hand Crocheted by our Daughter ""Tanya" as well as an extensive range of Gift items.

I am generally in residence at the Studio all year round and I would be pleased to welcome you should you make a visit to Rathlin, a place I can heartily recommend either for a day trip or indeed to spend some time in one of the local Self Catering Cottages, Bed and Breakfasts or for the more adventurous one of the Hostels all of which provide good accommodation as detailed on the Rathlin Island Website(www.rathlincommunity.org).

Visitors to Rathlin Island should be aware that access to cash on the Island is limited. There are 2 locations where cash can be accessed during opening hours and they are McCuaigs Pub and The Post Office. Hours of business for both can be viewed on the Rathlin Community Website but it is advisable to ensure that you bring enough cash for the duration of your stay as some businesses do not have access to payment by debit or credit card.
