The Lodge
In true Alpine style, the Lodge has been carefully designed with a clear and modern style. The interior celebrates nature with warm wooden features, natural materials and has an open, spacious feel. Large windows which look onto the Lough and lush greenery bring the landscape inside and reflect the tranquillity of the area.

We love and appreciate this beautiful region and throughout the build we took care to have minimal impact on the environment, and make design choices that respect the natural surroundings.
The energy for The Lodge is generated using a wind turbine, and PV solar panels with Battery Bank storage. It is constructed using high-grade insulated concrete, low-energy lighting, and a heat recovery system that reuses the heat recovered from the internal air and circulates fresh air every four minutes. The Lodge is heated using an Air Source Pump with super cosy underfloor heating.
We’ve installed a rainwater collection system that harvests and recycles the water for use on the farm and in the toilets, while a biodegradable tank is fed with organic waste material to generate gas which powers the stove cooker.
An electric car charging point is available for guests.

We stayed at Quarterland lodge with extended family and friends I have to say from start to fnish the lodge is fabulous and has everything that you would get in a fve star hotel the chef that was hired through the lodge the food was fantastic everyone was catered for special diets included
The bedrooms were fantastic and beds were very comfortable overall I would highly recommend there was something for everyone the kids loved being out on the canoes Over all I cant recommend it enough and would stay again in a heartbeat Well done to the hosts thanks for a fab stay
