DRUMBO COUNTRY HOUSE is a quirky destination offering self-catering accommodation for a group of 10 people, in a mini spa style set-up, with private guest-only access to the covered outdoor hot tub and sauna.
There are a range of onsite activities to keep your group entertained including soft archery, artificial grass putting green, indoor airsoft range and badminton to name a few, set within fully enclosed grounds surrounded by mature gardens, a large artificial lawn, providing the perfect space for all manner of outdoor games, sitting nicely alongside a large covered patio area.
The accommodation for your group at Drumbo Country House is split between Plum Tree Cottage (6), with it's unusual 2-bedroom layout, where the loft bedroom is accessed via the first floor bedroom, both with double beds and a sofa bed in the living room on the ground floor. Plum Tree Cottage also consists of a fully fitted kitchen on the ground floor, perfect for your self-catering needs and a single bathroom with shower, toilet and sink on the first floor.
The other half of your groups' accommodation is The Vintage Cottage Box (4), which is a refurbished horse truck, consisting of a double bed just off the original horse ramp entrance, which now serves as a patio area to the covered hot tub, and a king bed above the driver's cab, which does require a wee climb up into.
The Swallow allows you and your group of friends or family to have a night out with a BYOB to the party, without all the pushing and shoving to get served at the bar! Have a game of pool or darts, maybe fancy dress is your thing? Don’t like the music? Feel free to change it. You put it on the Bluetooth Speaker! There is an Amazon Firestick TV in the bar, but sure the craic is too good with your group to worry about what’s on!
And if you feel like making some pizzas together, and having a laugh judging each other’s efforts, The Pizza Box, is bookable for an evening. No need to leave site, the Pizza Box is located right next to The Swallow. Everything is supplied, right down to the aprons, all your group need to do is turn up with a whole load of enthusiasm! We will guide you through the process.
