About Us
Luxury self catering holiday cottage in Warrenpoint.
Cedar Cottage is a charming cottage which dates back to the 19th century and has recently been renovated to provide spacious, comfortable accommodation with an open plan kitchen and dining hall area leading into a cosy sitting room with gas fire.
The self catering accommodation provides two beautifully furnished bedrooms, one double room with en suite, and one twin room with separate bathroom. A conservatory leading from the dining hall overlooks a well laid out garden. The cottage is within walking distance of the town, local shops and restaurants as well as the beach and promenade and is ideally located for visits to the Mountains of Mourne and the Cooley Peninsula.

Even better, second time around!
We returned for a short stay at Cedar Cottage and had the pleasure of enjoying every aspect of what it offers. Everything written in my last (May 2019) review still stands. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. Tasteful decor, pristinely clean inside and outside. We enjoyed a safe, peaceful, warm and cosy stay, just minutes from the beach, local shops, bars and restaurants.

Very comfortable with everything you need and more for self catering. Lovely welcome pack on arrival including home made cakes, milk, bread and eggs, was a brilliant surprise, especially as we arrived on Sunday evening.
My husband, two teenage kids and I stayed in this beautiful cottage.To say that the host’s have taught about every detail is an understatement from the beautiful garden to the delicious home baking for our enjoyment and very tasteful interior.
Situated just a few yards from Carlingford lough and views of the Mournes, short walk into the town. Nearby is Kilbroney Park with access to the Mournes through Rostrevor Forest, lots of scenic walks and drives.
My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Cedar Cottage in August whilst visiting my son. The pictures online did not disappoint and we were amazed at the attention to detail in the cottage.
A very well equipped and comfortable cottage, kept in exceptional condition. The owners are very hospitable and welcoming. Cottage in convenient location within Warrenpoint, a very short walk to Carlingford Lough shoreline and within easy walking distance to town centre and shops. Good location to stay for visiting the Mourne’s, the Ring of Gullion, Newry, Carlingford and Cooley Peninsula.
